For a top carrier, a comprehensive customer service offering is a given, but sometimes there are very unusual requests that require a special procedure.

Shipping a female egg for fertilization from the USA to Prague and back
Geis has no shortage of curiosities and curiosities to transport. One of their not-so-common services was the transportation of a woman's egg. For a client who couldn't make it to Prague in person, her frozen egg traveled by express flight from the USA to the Czech capital. After fertilization with VIP donor sperm, it was transported back to the clinic in Denver by the same route. Petr Vostárek, Air Freight Supervisor from Geis CZ Air+Sea, adds with a smile: "The transport there and back took only 3 days in total. The shipment arrived safely, but unfortunately we don't know if the whole event was successful after delivery."
Crystal Cups travelled from Nový Bor to Miami
Another feat was the transportation of the crystal cups to the bodybuilding competition in Miami, Florida. A company from Nový Bor in the Liberec region was in a production slide. The transportation was therefore express, as the cups had to be delivered in just 4 days. The six exceedingly fragile trophies for the participants of the muscleman competition arrived on site without damage and on time.
Water samples from Tanzania show a clear no to the brewery
An unnamed company that built a brewery in Ethiopia decades ago has inspired the government in Tanzania. The government offered the Czech firm a chance to build a brewery on the shores of Lake Victoria, the world's second largest freshwater lake. To help the Czechs assess whether the water was suitable for use in beer production, logistics firm Geis helped transport a test kit to collect water samples directly from Lake Victoria and local wells. Geis then transported the samples back to the Czech Republic. The result was decisive; the brewery is still not standing there.
