Disabling the support of the SSLv3 protocol

30.9.2019

On Thursday 17.9.2019 we will disable the SSLv3 protocol support for all of our web servers, devices, and applications.

Dear Business Partners,

Please note the following:

On Thursday 17.9.2019 we will disable the SSLv3 protocol support for all of our web servers, devices, and applications.

The protocol can be used for secure HTTPS communication. The possible security risks related to the outdated SSLv3 web protocol have been described in the past. As it is already a very outdated protocol, it is very unlikely to continue to be used. Based on the possible vulnerability of the protocol and the mentioned low usage, we decided to disable its support on October 17, 2019.

We are making this step to provide greater security for our clients.

If you are not sure which protocol you are using to protect your data, please forward this information to your IT department or specialist.
More detailed information about SSLv3 vulnerabilities can be found here.
Thank you for your understanding.
